Pieces of worship.

I'm riding here on this asphalt interstate surveying the skies my Father made. The texture of the clouds and different shades of blue capture my wandering eye and I am awed by how powerful my Master is to create gravity. So mighty a creator to mold the mountains like clay in His hands. So mighty yet He made my feeble body and desires my weak soul. His unfailing love He pours over me to which I return praise for that is the least I can do. How faithful He is to His runaway daughter. I run away and choose to disobey but, He still loves me. His arms are always open when I return. How merciful to forgive the gaping wound I caused. Love so extravagant can never be stopped, so I give up all I am- all my wickedness, my selfish desires, and my future and follow my Father in reckless abandonment.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1

He has fashioned me and only He knows the true desires of my heart.

God, thank You for the rain and for Your beauty.

I'm thankful for hot chocolate, warm laundry, and the Blood of Christ that redeems us. I'm thankful for reminders that I'm here for a purpose. I'm thankful that I get to be a part of God's Kingdom.
