Introverted. Intuitive. Feeling. Perceiving.

" Make me to know your ways, O   Lord ;      teach me your paths. 5  Lead me in your  truth and teach me,      for you are the God of my salvation;      for you I wait all the day long." Psalm 27:4-5 INFP. Four letters that make up my personality. The tricky thing with INFP's is that we love to help people but we just don't know exactly what that entails. We change our mind a lot if we don't know where we are going in life. I've changed my mind so many times. From Pharmacy to teaching to ministry to counseling to everything else that involves helping people. Why am I 24 and still trying to figure out life? Because that's how INFP's work. To a person with a more logical personality, this may seem crazy or irrational. But this is how God made me. I'm a people person. I don't have my life planned out. I'm not the kind of person that knows what I want to do when I'm ten years old and sticks to that plan...

The reason why I'm here

Monday, one of my ESL students took me aside after class and poured out her heart to me about her first husband. She's my age. 24. She was married at a very early age. Her first husband would wake her up in the middle of the night just to beat her. She warned me that this is how men treat women in her country. Pray for her to receive dreams and visions of Jesus and that she and her husband would accept Him as Lord and Savior of their lives. Pray that they would share Christ with others and that they would take the gospel to their ...

New Life

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. -Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 April in New York City is still so chilly and windy and rainy. But, it's beautiful in it's own way. How could one enjoy the beauty of the spring or the warmth of the summer if one never had to endure the harsh winter conditions? How could one ...
